Keona  is a seasoned mental health professional with over two decades of experience. Her career has spanned various roles, including working with children and adolescents in New Orleans, foster care youth and their families in Dallas, and populations experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and psychiatric emergencies.

Keona holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master's degree in counseling from Prairie View A&M University. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in creating mental health programs,providing critical incident debriefing, and working in managed care organizations, EAP, and community mental health settings.

As a passionate mentor and advocate for self-care, Keona is committed to supporting the next generation of mental health professionals. She has served as a clinical supervisor for graduate student interns and LPC associates, sharing her knowledge and expertise to help them navigate the challenges and rewards of their careers.
